Description
Willis Pinball is an action video game released in 1992 in the United States. It was released by ComAd Group as a promotional feature for bhv software, a German
software store. It is one of their earliest promotional titles. The game runs on the DOS platform.
Willis Pinball is designed as a pinball game simulation with some tweaks. The ball seems to have a mind of its own and hardly follows any rules of general physics.
Like all pinball games, the player needs to use the flippers at the bottom of the pinball table to hit the ball. There are bumpers at the top of the table to bounce
the ball away. However, the ball might not always swing the way it is supposed to, hence Willis Pinball requires more attention than a regular pinball game.
The outcome depends on the efficient use of the bumpers and flippers to make sure the ball is not missed or hit in the wrong direction. The correct direction of the
ball is marked by arrows on the table. Points are displayed on the right side of the screen, with a logo. The same logo can be found on the pinball table.
Being a promotional game, the major part of the game is made of ads for bhv software that creep up at random times during the game. The game language is a mix of
German and English. Although the game does not make any major breakthroughs in the pinball game genre, it can be a great addition to all pinball fanatics and enthusiasts.
